Osprey Cove is a fairly large development of single family homes located off Highway 707 a short distance from the beaches of Surfside. This community has a more established section that was developed over 10 years ago, and Flagship Homes is also building new homes in a new section of Osprey Cove. Therefore, there are a many, many floor plans and housing styles to choose from within the development, and the sizes range from around 1000 to just over 2000 square feet of living space. The new homes that are being built have most of the same floor plans that are constructed in other Flagship neighborhoods like Carolina Woods, Highland Ridge and Hideaway at Palmetto Point.
The location of Osprey Cove is pretty good, and will become a much better location if they ever widen Highway 707. As it stands traffic can get a little congested in the area in the afternoons when school and work let out. The schools that the children of Osprey Cove attend are Burgess Elementary which is the newer Elementary School off of Holmestown Road, St. James Middle School and St. James High School.
