Murrells Inlet golf courses are among some of the most popular courses in the southeastern United States. The Myrtle Beach area has been a major attraction for golfers for decades. The Tournament Players Club is one of the most popular Murrells Inlet golf courses. It’s often been ranked as one of the top golf courses in the country. It has received awards from various golf magazines since its opening. The Senior Tour Championship has been hosted at this course, and has helped contribute to its popularity. It was originally designed by Tom Fazio, one of the most well-known golf architects. There is a lot of beautiful scenery, with updated bunkers and greens. The golf course’s updates have helped keep the golfing experience both challenging and enjoyable for all golfers.

Blackmoor Golf Club is another one of the popular Murrells Inlet golf courses. It’s well-known as the Gary Player Signature Course. It is very convenient to many of the area condos, and as such, is popular with visitors who are on a golfing vacation.

There are two other noteworthy Murrells Inlet golf courses. Wachesaw Plantation East is further south than the other courses, but is very popular with visitors. The course was originally designed by Clyde Johnson, with five sets of tees. Because there are several sets of tees, golfers can play on this course no matter what their level of skill is. The International Club is often chosen because of the beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed while playing. William Byrd designed the course, and it has a layout that is considered to be fairly challenging. Like Wachesaw Plantation East, it features 5 different sets of tees for different ability levels.
