Kenzgar is an Intracoastal Waterway development located just South of the Swing Bridge off of Peachtree Road in the Socastee area of Myrtle Beach. This community is located right next to the Hwy 544 bridge boat landing, and close to many grocery stores and restaurants of Socastee. Most of the homes within the community are raised beach style homes with the exception of a few single level ranches. Kenzgar was developed during the real estate boom of the mid 2000s, and home sites sold for a premium price. As a result, there have not been many homes to sell as resales unless as a foreclosure or short sale. Some home sites have also been purchased at reasonable prices, and has allowed builders to build a smaller homes at attractive pricesprices.
