Darren had a great experience to show homes in the Surfside Beach area today with a great couple searching for a second home. They were looking at low-country and raised beach close to the ocean in Surfside Beach. After an initial conversation with the buyers, Darren realized quickly that these buyers were searching for a lifestyle close to the ocean. It was obvious that they have done their research, and realized that this off season is the best time to buy a home in the Myrtle Beach area.
Knowing the real estate market in the area, Darren took them to two of the most popular single family communities in the area. Harbor Lights was the first stop. Harbor Lights is a small community of single family homes just east of Highway 17 in Surfside Beach. The community and location are amazing. They haven’t even finished the model, and the community is almost sold out. They major appeal of the community is the location of being east of 17, and the easy golf cart commute to a public beach access overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. If you are searching for something new, east of 17 in Surfside Beach and around $250K, Harbor Lights is the place to be. They have only a few lots to choose from, and you can see some of the homes listed below.
Heading just north of Surfside Beach on the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, Darren took the buyers to Emmen’s Preserve where like many buyers previous, these folks also desired this single family community close to Market Common. For $250K in Emmen’s Preserve we were look at over 2400 square feet with all the upgrades that you can imagine. Emmen’s Preserve sold 13 homes in the month of August. Currently they are holding prices where they are, with expectations of increases in coming months. If you or anybody you know is searching for Myrtle Beach real estate, have them call us immediately at 843-267-4627. Emmen’s Preserve only has a few left at the current prices, and the interest rates are still ridiculously low.
